Our dedicated team also provide additional support throughout your work experience to ensure you have a wonderful and educational time whilst you are completing your internship.

Sometimes we are lucky enough to have interns completing their work experience in our Twin office in London, such as Alessandra Ciliento, our Student Services intern from Italy. So we asked Alessandra to share her experience about her time here:

Q.) What is good about taking an internship in the UK?

A.) I think that taking an Internship in UK offers me the opportunity to work in a complete English speaking atmosphere and it will help me to find a job when I go back to Italy.

Q.) What do you like about the UK?

A.) Internship in London is the best choice I have ever done. First of all I’m interested in history and literature and in London you can visit a lot of places, such as The Globe (Shakespeare’s theatre), Woolf’s home in the Hyde Park, King Henry VIII’s birthplace and so on. Secondly, during the weekend you can spend your time at the countless markets, such as the Brick Lane Market, where you can try flavours from all over the world. Finally, if you like to be in touch with nature you can take a walk in the countless parks.

Q.) What do you like about your internship?

A.) I’m at the Student Services Area and I like it very much because I have the opportunity to be in touch with students from different countries. Moreover, I believe that this experience will help me to be self-confident and to learn a lot about the world of work. In addition, Twin is a big family and they make me feel like I am a part of it.

Q.) Do you think you have had the chance to improve your English?

A.) Yes, of course. Working in an English speaking environment encourages me to speak English to my colleagues and this helps me to improve English.

Q.) Would you take an internship in the UK again?

A.) Yes, I would! If the opportunity arises, why not!
