Our dedicated team also provide additional support throughout your work experience to ensure you have a wonderful and educational time whilst you are completing your internship.

Sometimes we are lucky enough to have interns completing their work experience in our Twin office in London, such as Xiaojuan Gao, our International Business Development intern from China. So we asked Xiaojuan to share his experience about his time here:

Q.) What is good about taking an internship in the UK?

A.) Taking an internship in UK offers me a chance to work in a total English speaking environment and learn about how UK enterprises work. It will be very useful for me to find a job in UK and even back in my country.

Q.) What do you like about the UK?

A.) The most attractive thing about UK is that the atmosphere here is very free.

Q.) What do you like about your internship?

A.) I am taking the internship in marketing and mainly focusing on Chinese market, combining with digital (social media) marketing. It is very specific and suits what I am doing in my MA programme. So, I believe that this experience will help me prepare for my future career.

Q.) Do you think you have had the chance to improve your English?

A.) Working in an English speaking environment, I need to communicate with my colleagues in English, so there’s no doubt that I have this chance to improve my English, especially listening, because Twin is a very inclusive group and there are many colleagues from different areas of the world.

Q.) Would you take an internship in the UK again?

A.) Yes I will. Western backgrounds will be one of my advantages when I look for a job back in China or any other countries.
