Our Internships
Look no further than our plant-powered blog for the best vegan food in Dublin!
Traditional Irish food like coddle and the Irish breakfast, are usually made up of animal products. From the boiled sausage and bacon in coddle, to the white pudding in the Irish breakfast; authentic Irish food is not vegan-friendly.
But, fear not! Whilst Dublin continues to celebrate its traditional cuisine, it also recognises the popularity and importance of veganism. Therefore, if you plan to visit Dublin on a plant-based diet, you will not fall short of tasty vegan options and restaurants.
(Every dish mentioned in this blog was personally tried and approved by one of our Turing Scheme interns!)
Every week, you will find an amazing food market in Merrion Square Park. The stalls highlight some of the best dishes from around the world, including street food from the Middle East to Venezuela. The Arepas are a stand-out favourite, cut open and filled with BBQ jackfruit and avocado for the vegan option.
Check out Merrion Square Market every Thursday from 11.00 to 14.30 and get yourself some delicious vegan street food in Dublin!
This is a popular doughnut shop in Dublin with lots of delicious flavours on offer. Although not every doughnut is vegan, there are six amazing vegan options made with sourdough, including the delicious blueberry crumble doughnut, and the peanut butter cup flavour. Not only are they freshly baked every day but they are also handcrafted in Dublin!
The Rolling Donut has seven different locations with different opening times, but some stores stay open until 22.00!
This all-vegan restaurant is definitely a fan favourite. The show stoppers are their burgers, but they also do incredible sides including cauliflower wings and loaded fries. Their food settles every (fast) food craving you might have, and is definitely worth a vsisit - get yourself to Dublin’s first-ever vegan burger bar!
V-Face is open from 12.00, and closes at 21.30 Monday - Thursday, and stays open until 22.00 over the weekend.
This aesthetic brunch spot in Ranelagh prides itself on serving healthy, sustainable produce. Their menu strives to reduce animal use and be environmentally friendly, resulting in extensive vegan options. We recommend trying their scrambled tofu and avocado on toast, or their vegan breakfast burrito. This is a great spot to try a vegan brunch in Dublin!
Urban Health is open from 8.00 until 15.00 during the week, and opens from 9.00 until 16.00 over the weekend.
