Gain invaluable experience, expand your network, and immerse yourself in another culture with our award-winning internships in New Zealand.
From Finance to Fashion, choose from a wide range of sectors and find an internship tailored to your goals. Whether you’re still exploring your options, fresh out of university, or making a mid-career move, a Twin internship can help you grow – all while exploring another country and culture.
Make Your Mark
An internship abroad can be the first spark of something great. Employers increasingly value international work experience and language skills, making an overseas placement both a personal and professional investment. Our programme gives you the tools to make a real impact while supporting you every step of the way.
We offer internships all over New Zealand, but most are based in Auckland. As New Zealand’s largest city, Auckland has a wealth of job opportunities, particularly in finance, marketing, technology, and tourism. No matter where you’re placed, you’ll gain hands-on experience in your chosen sector, meet new people, and make unforgettable memories.
Discover New Zealand
From breathtaking fjords to subtropical shores and snow-capped peaks, New Zealand is nothing if not diverse. Despite its dramatic landscapes, New Zealand is a relatively small country, making travel refreshingly easy. Its cities are just as compact, yet bursting with cool cafés, bars, and cultural activities – whether you’re soaking up Māori culture at the Te Papa Museum in Wellington, catching a live gig on Auckland’s waterfront, or exploring the world’s real-life Middle-earth.
Most of our interns find themselves in Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city. Nicknamed the ‘City of Sails’, Auckland is surrounded by water – with even more boats than people to sail them. There are countless beaches and islands to explore, like Waiheke Island, known for its vineyards, olive groves, and pristine beaches – all just a 40-minute ferry ride away. Thrill seekers can test their mettle by bungee-jumping off the city’s iconic Sky Tower, or celebrate Māori and Pacific Island cultures through food, craft, and entertainment at the annual Pasifika festival.
Home to some of the most striking landscapes in the world, New Zealand is a haven for nature-lovers. Visit real-life Hobbiton in Matamata, step into the Lord of the Rings film set, or head south to the magnificent Fiordland National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site spanning 1.2 million hectares of mountains, ice-carved fjords, waterfalls, and ancient forests. Wherever you find yourself, we’ll connect you with other interns in your area – so you don’t have to go it alone.
