Twin Internships Abroad operates under the trading name Twin Training International.
The applicant certifies that the information given in the Application Form is correct and acknowledges that any false information may compromise their participation in the programme.
The applicant declares that they are 18 years old or above on the start date of the programme (16+ permitted for UK & Ireland only).
The applicant declares that they have never been arrested or convicted of a criminal offence and that they speak good conversational English.
Twin strongly advises that no travel arrangements be made before a programme is confirmed.
Twin shall not be responsible for performance delays due to causes beyond its control including but not limited to: war, natural disasters, government actions, and failure of transportation or suppliers.
Twin Group is not liable for loss, damage, illness or injury to persons or property howsoever caused except where statutory liability applies.
Twin reserves the right to make changes to services. Minor changes may involve placement dates. Significant changes will be communicated early. In such cases, a full refund will be given.
Applicants who change travel dates must inform Twin in writing. Changes may incur administration fees.
Participants must remain flexible with their working hours and duties.
If a participant finds the programme unsuitable after starting, no refund is given. Twin will try to find a suitable alternative but cannot cover additional costs.
Twin reserves the right to refuse applicants who do not meet programme requirements.
A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required for programmes involving minors or vulnerable individuals.
Students with health issues, learning difficulties, or special needs must disclose this at booking. Twin may not be able to accommodate severe cases.
The applicant confirms they are in good health and fit for travel.
Participants travel at their own risk. Use of motor vehicles and insurance are the participant’s responsibility.
Participants are expected to educate themselves on local risks and customs.
Participants must ensure they hold valid passports and relevant visas.
Twin’s visa guidance is indicative only. It’s the participant’s responsibility to confirm requirements with embassies.
Failure to provide correct documentation may lead to delays or costs.
It is the participant’s responsibility to obtain appropriate insurance covering repatriation, illness, injury, and loss.
Twin strongly advises travel insurance before departure.
Participants must behave professionally and respectfully at all times.
Inappropriate conduct, consistent lateness, or disrespect towards host families may result in expulsion without refund.
If problems arise, participants should:
1. Try to resolve them directly.
2. Speak with the project supervisor.
3. Contact Twin with written complaints.
Twin will confirm receipt within 5 days and respond within 1 month.
Participants agree to pay all fees as required.
All fees are payable in GBP or EUR. Visa fees are separate unless stated otherwise.
Programme fee may increase annually due to host cost changes.
Changes to bookings incur a £100 admin fee and must be made in writing.
Credit card and bank fees, including refund-related charges, are the applicant’s responsibility.
If Twin cancels a programme, a similar alternative or full refund (minus costs) will be offered.
After application approval, a £300 deposit is payable.
Refund policies:
- More than 56 days before departure: 100% refund minus deposit and costs.
- 29–56 days before departure: 50% refund minus deposit and costs.
- 28 days or less: No refund.
- Early departure or no-show: No refund.
Australian programme fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Failure to pay balance by deadline may result in cancellation without refund.
At least one week's notice is needed for early departure; otherwise, no refund applies.
Students causing damage or behaving inappropriately may be asked to leave with no refund.
Valuables are kept at the student’s own risk.
Complaints about ground services must be raised immediately (on the day or next) to allow timely resolution.
If a resolution is not achieved, appeals can be made to English UK.
Twin is a Data Controller under the Data Protection Act 2018.
Data may be shared with partners overseas to facilitate placement or care during emergencies.
Payments will only be made to accounts in the name of the contracted entity.
All contracts and agreements are governed by UK law.
